COL Tario with some local friends 42nd Rainbow Division (Mechanized) Commander Major General Joseph Taluto with Jim and Lisa on the day of their deployment to OIF. Jim was the Commander of the 42nd's Headquarters Company (HHC) from 1992 to 1994 serving under then Colonel Taluto. Left is our friend Colonel Roy Tario with Lisa and right is Colonel Mark Heffner, Chief of Staff for the 42nd. Both of these senior officers were instrumental in my professional development. Jim with then BG Taluto on the day of his promotion to Brigadier General. Major General Taluto has since been promoted and he is the Adjutant General (TAG) of New York State. Welcome home to a great leader and warrior!

This is our friend COL Roy Tario at his home.  This is Jim's friend, NYC Police Lieutenant Ed Sadler. Ed and I became quick friends while we serving together in NYC after the 9/11 disaster Jim meeting New York State Governor George Pataki (maybe next President!) in 1998 after hurricanes came through Mechanicville, NY. Jim was serving as the Task Force Logistics Officer Our good friend, LTC Cleveland
